Description
HydroCoat is a specially formulated, water-based epoxy coating/sealer, with excellent adhesion to both old and fresh GREEN concrete. Designed as a tinted coating for smooth and profiled concrete, HydroCoat has a long pot-life, very low odor, good chemical resistance, and dries to a walkable surface in 4–6 hours at 73°F.

Surface Preparation
ALL substrates: clean, sound, minimum 250 psi tensile bond strength per ASTM D4541. Free from oil, grease, urethane, paint, adhesive, underlayment, or contaminants. Do not apply to concrete with hardeners, curing agents, or densifiers. Not for slabs subject to Hydrostatic Pressure.
Designed to go over smooth, power-trowel concrete without shot blasting or scarifying. If mechanical prep is required, use fine grit mesh.
Mixing & Application
- Pre-mix Part B (tinted side) to integrate pigments from bottom of pail.
- Add Part A into Part B pail, mix with high-speed hand drill for 1–2 minutes to uniform consistency.
- Pour into roller pan, dip and roll out immediately with 18" nap roller.
- Apply in thin film — roll tight, do not allow puddles. Use crosshatch pattern if necessary.
- Re-coat time: 2–6 hours depending on surface porosity.
- First coat can be diluted up to 15% with water for economics.
- Two coats recommended for maximum floor protection.
Clean Up & Storage
Clean Up: Scouring pad and warm soapy water while wet. Mechanical cleaning or paint stripper if cured.
Storage: Closed containers, 50–80°F. Do not freeze.
