Because the Services are used by businesses, much of the information we handle relates to companies and the individuals who act on their behalf.

Order information	Estimates, purchase orders, line items, quantities, freight selections, and order history.
Usage & device information	IP address, browser type, and basic activity needed to operate, secure, and rate-limit the Services.

2. How We Use Information

To create and manage your account and verify your company for ordering.
To generate estimates, process and fulfill purchase orders, and arrange freight.
To determine your applicable pricing tier and apply pricing server-side.
To communicate with you about your account, orders, approvals, and shipments.
To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, including fraud prevention and rate limiting.
To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Services and our business:

Service providers. We use trusted third parties to operate the Services, including cloud hosting and database providers, our email provider, an accounting/invoicing provider (for creating estimates and invoices), and freight/logistics providers (to obtain rates and book shipments). These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.
Within your company. Authorized administrators and users at your company may see account, company, and order information associated with your company.
Legal & safety. We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of S3, our customers, or others.
Business transfers. If S3 is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your information is stored on servers located in the United States. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect it, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, restricted-access storage for uploaded documents, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your login credentials and notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as required to comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

6. Your Choices & Rights

You may review and update your account and company information through the member portal, or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of certain personal information, subject to our legal and recordkeeping obligations. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You can also opt out of non-essential communications while continuing to receive transactional messages about your account and orders.

7. Cookies & Tracking

The Services use browser storage and essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate core features. We describe this in detail in our Cookie & Tracking Notice.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. Third-Party Links

The Services may link to third-party websites or resources (for example, product technical data sheets or video hosts). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; review their policies before providing information.

10. Changes to This Policy
